| I have a fairly antique Bose Lifestyle 12 Series II system. Stringing the surround wires was always a problem. Solved two years ago when I got this unit. The set up is simple. The sound level works perfectly. No interference. Everything I wanted. |

I've had this hooked up for about three weeks now and no issues. Set-up was simple as other reviewers have stated. I'm renting so I didn't want to do anything to potentially damage walls, and still wanted to have the rear speakers hooked up without running wire all over the place, so this did the trick. I have it set about 25' from the main module, and I don't notice a loss of sound quality, sounds the same as when I had them hard-wired at my last house. You do need to run speaker wires from the rear-surround module (included in the package), but it worked for me and I was able to discreetly run those wires to the module.
I'm using it with a Bose AM-10 system I bought in '05. No complaints, recommend for other Bose users. Hope this helps |
Good sound but still requires speaker wire

I agree with the previous reviewer that while the sound quality is good, you still need to run speaker cables to each speaker. I found another unit that has separate receivers for each speaker: [...]

The Bose SL2 was very easy to install and worked the first try.
The sound quality is as good as when the rear speakers were hard wired. |

| If you don't have a BOSE system then forget this product. It won't work! I didn't understand this when I order it and I am very disappointed since I was looking forward to have rear speakers. I will returning this system. Why can't they work with other systems? Why do they create this product and don't say if you don't have a BOSE system then look elswhere. BEWARE!!! |
Warning--Must have Bose system for this to work!

| You can't hook up this system unless you have a bose system/receiver in place. I saw a review on another site that suggested this would work with my Onkyo receiver, but after buying and attempting to install the system I found out the hard way. Confirmed this is true with Bose customer service. Now I'm going to be penalized a 15% restocking fee and shipping fees with 6th Ave. Electronics. Sweet Deal! |
