| This is a compact, yet really nice sounding device for listening to audio from your computer. My Sony Vaio has abysmal internal speakers, but now I can listen to any and all audio with very pleasing sound! I am tickled with this purchase! |

| I got the mint computer speakers for my husband and he (and I) are really happy with them. Installation was easy, my husband installed them (he is very techy), however, he says that even I could have done it! We can now listen to Pandora anywhere in the house (even out on our porch). |

I'll keep this short and sweet. This speaker system is amazing. I bought it to play music wirelessly for our newborn child and it put him to sleep night after night.
Although the speaker system is great, the customer service offered by Mint Wireless is the real reason for my review. The right-side speaker blew out after only a couple months operation, and after speaking with David in customer support, he rush delivered me a replacement speaker system at NO CHARGE and had me ship back the broken unit after I fully tested the new working unit. I was amazed with the excellent service and assured him I would let everyone know how impressed I was with my great experience.
Such a joy to find a company who actually takes pride in their products and stands behind them 100%! |

Don't write reviews often but this is an amazing product - great sound clarity and loudness; wireless - uses USB transmitter - works with any computer. Love it.
The only other product similar to this is made by Bose (3x the price, fewer features).
Highly recommend. These guys deserve your business. |

I wrote Mint that the wireless adapter broke about 4 months after my purchase. They had a replacement part at my door within 48 hours. No hassel, just prompt and polite service, the best I've received anywhere at anyime.
BTW: the speaker works great; it is far superior to my laptop's speakers; easy to set up, basically plug and play. A great value for the price.Mint Studio Wireless PC/Mac Speaker with iPod/iPhone Dock (Black) |
Sounds great WHEN it works

Easy to set up and loud, clear sound within seconds. But within a few months the usb transmitter started to get loose and would only work after a LOT of jiggling. Finally broke. Ordered another usb transmitter and this one simply doesn't work at all. After 2 useless suggestions from customer no-service I won't buy another of Mint's products.
In all fairness, Mint contacted me again and we found out the wrong transmitter was sent and they are sending me another. If it works, I'll change this review |
Wireless but not "cord-free"

This product is very similar to the BOSE speaker system, both the size of the unit and the remote control. I hooked up my iPhone 3GS to this unit and it worked just fine. The wirless function worked just as described. I literally just plugged in the USB port, docked my iPhone and it worked. It prompted me that the unit would be in "airplane mode" and not be able to receive calls. The sound was great (especially for the price). I was able to play iTunes from my computer and youtube clips directly from my iPhone.
My only complaint is that though this unit is wirless it is still tethered with a power cord and does not run have the option of running on battery-operated power. I was looking for something entirely mobile, I wanted to take the speaker in the backyard, between rooms, etc. with ease. I found the power-cord to be very burdensome (and I already have a speaker system for my laptop which runs through AC power).
Unfotunately I ahd to return this unit. |
