Cheap but Functional   Date Of Review: August 25, 2010 Reviewed by: DERBY, Mediocre is probably the best word to describe everything about this item, but on the plus side it is a lot cheaper than it's competitors. When plugged directly into a sound source the speaker quality is pretty average. When you use it with the wireless FM transmitter the sound quality gets worse. With a little tweaking of the volume and equalization from the transmitting source you can improve the sound quality some but it will never be as clear as if it were directly plugged in. Don't expect to be able to crank it loud, the bass makes it sound awful. If you want a quiet little speaker for out on the deck and don't plan on moving it much, this will probably work. If you want to be able to use it for loud parties or frequently move it and use multiple audio sources, then I would plan on spending more money for something of better quality.
